High School Enrichment & Credit Recovery

Semester 1: June 3 - 13 (No School June 14)

Semester 2: June 17-28 (No School June 19)

All summer scheduling for students in incoming grades 9-12 will be completed through students' school counselors.

In-Person Learning

Location: Rogers Middle School

Daily Times: 7:45am - 2:45pm

This summer, in addition to offering all core classes for students who previously failed a semester class, Affton School District will also be offering an increased selection of credit enrichment electives for students wanting to get ahead. Students will have the ability to enroll in up to two courses to earn a total of 1 credit (one 0.5 credit course per two-week session). Limited busing will be available- please have your student communicate their need for bus transportation when scheduling with their counselor

Virtual Driver's Education Available Again This Year! Looking for a break on auto insurance for a teenage driver? Your plan may give you a discount for providing evidence of completion of a driver's education course and we're offering it virtually!

Planning Timeline for Families

January: Transcript reviews and scheduling meetings with counselors start

April 12: General notification of need to attend summer school sent home

May 10: Notifications of bus route availability set home

May 17: Notification of detailed summer schedule, course teacher(s), and drop off/pick-up procedures

May 27 - 31: Summer school principal and course teachers will be contacting families with any remaining details for Day 1

June 3 - 13: Semester 1 (No School June 14)

June 17 - 28: Semester 2 (No School June 19)

July 1: Report cards sent home
