On Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, the Affton Board of Education approved the calendar for the 2024-25 school year. A few key features that Affton's school calendar must reflect include 177 student contact days and 186 teacher contract days while also adhering to the state statute that does not allow a district to begin the school year earlier than two weeks prior to Labor Day.
